2018 Celebrate Marion Gala & Show
The second Celebrate Marion Gala was a huge success! Held June 2, 2018, at the Marion Palace Theatre, approximately 1,000 people joined MarionMade! for this celebration of the many positive things happening in Marion, Ohio. This is the major annual fund raiser for the MarionMade! community pride initiative and is lavishly supported by many local businesses and individuals.
The full event included a cocktail hour in the May Pavilion, followed by a formal dinner for more than 450 people. During the dinner, a presentation was given by Chip Holcombe regarding Marion’s involvement in the Columbus 2020 efforts. Following the dinner, guests proceeded into the Palace Theatre for an evening of entertainment and honoree presentations. There, they were joined by another 700 people to watch the show. A number of individuals and organizations were recognized for their unique contributions to the culture of Marion, Ohio. The Palace stage was also graced by exceptional entertianers, all of whom are “MarionMade.” The evening concluded with an after party and dancing in the Pavilion.
